Rowena O’Neill

Systems change and leadership manager

Rowena is the project lead for The Front Project’s Systems Leadership Project, a sector-led collaboration exploring the systems that affect early childhood education. She has nearly a decade of stakeholder relations experience in for-purpose and for-profit contexts.

Rowena has a passion for social change and has experience in for-purpose leadership including use of strategic communications and creative planning to drive successful development outcomes for national social enterprise Fitted for Work. Rowena is a Founding member and former Curator of the Sydney Hub of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum and one of 450 city based Hubs around the world. She has spent close to a decade working in the finance industry and was previously a Senior Manager, with responsibility for business development and strategy within Macquarie Asset Management. She holds a Masters of Finance from INSEAD as well as a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Hons).
